COMMON QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS

What Skin Conditions Does a HydraFacial Treat?

HydraFacial is a non-invasive treatment that works on all skin types. It’s a unique facial with results so impressive, you’ll wonder why you ever had a traditional spa facial.

HydraFacial is perfect for people who have acne, rosacea and sensitive skin. It can also help rejuvenate aging skin and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.

The HydraFacial is a non-invasive procedure that uses a specialized process to cleanse your pores and exfoliate your skin. The treatment begins with an extraction to remove blackheads and whiteheads. Next, the technician applies a hydrating serum designed to hydrate your face and restore its natural moisture balance. The technician then applies an enzyme mask that promotes collagen production while gently exfoliating your skin using lactic acid or glycolic acid. Finally, the technician applies another hydrating serum before applying eye cream around your eyes.

Who Is a Good Candidate for a HydraFacial Treatment?

HydraFacials are ideal for anyone who wants to address skin concerns, including acne, rosacea, dullness, and uneven skin tone. The treatment is also helpful for those with oily or dry skin, large pores, and fine lines.

There are no medical conditions that would make you ineligible for a HydraFacial treatment. However, if you have a skin infection or active breakout, it’s best to wait until your skin clears up before your first treatment.

How Many Treatments to See Results and How Long Do They Last?

It’s common to wonder how many treatments you’ll need to see results and how long they will last. The answer is that it depends on your individual needs, but we can give you a general idea of what to expect.

The number of treatments depends on what kind of results you are looking for.

For example, if you’re looking for a quick fix that will last only a few days or weeks, then getting one or two treatments per year might be enough. On the other hand, if your goal is more permanent results over time (such as reversing sun damage) then you might need more frequent sessions—perhaps once or twice per month depending on how quickly your skin cells regenerate naturally (which varies from person to person).

What Areas can be Treated by Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is a treatment that uses a special machine to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. It can be used on all areas of the face, including:

  •  Tired and puffy eyes
  •  Freckles and sunspots
  •  Acne and other blemishes
  • Dry or rough patches
  • Fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores

Is Hydrafacial a Painful Procedure?

Hydrafacial is a non-invasive procedure that involves the application of steam, exfoliation and extraction to the skin. The steam helps open pores, enabling the extractions to be performed more efficiently and effectively. Hydrafacial can be performed with or without extractions.

The procedure is painless. You may feel some pressure when the facialist applies the steam or when they extract debris from your pores, but there is no discomfort associated with this procedure.

Hydrafacial is very relaxing and will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
