Why should I try the Hydrafacial at Oceren Skin Care Spa?

Microcurrent is a non-invasive, painless way to address the signs of aging and promote healthier skin. It works by using electrical currents to stimulate your skin’s natural healing ability.

Benefits include:

  • Increased collagen production
  •  Increased cell metabolism
  •  Reduced inflammation and redness
  •  Improved skin tone

Our HydraFacial process

The Dermaplaning procedure is quick and easy. Your licensed aesthetician will use a special scalpel to gently scrape away dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. This process removes the dull outer layer of your skin so that newer healthier cells may grow in their place.

Dermaplaning is a procedure that exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair off your face, revealing fresh new skin beneath. It’s great for reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving the texture of your skin.

It’s done with a sharpened tool called a dermaroller or dermapen, which resembles an eyeliner pencil. The tool has tiny blades that scrape away dead skin cells and vellus hair from your face, leaving you with a smooth canvas for makeup application or for wearing no makeup at all!

How long does a HydraFacial treatment take?

A microcurrent facial treatment is designed to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating your own collagen production. It does this through the use of electrical currents that are delivered to your face through tiny needles. This process causes your body to produce more collagen in order to heal itself after the treatment. Microcurrent facials are also great for treating acne scars because they encourage healing by increasing blood flow to damaged skin cells.

In contrast, regular facials will cleanse and exfoliate your skin, but they won’t stimulate collagen production or increase blood flow like microcurrent facials do. The main difference between them is that microcurrent facials are specifically designed to restore elasticity and smooth out wrinkles while regular facials focus on cleaning up the surface of your skin without penetrating deep enough into your dermis (the layer where new cells form)

What can I expect during my treatment?

A microcurrent treatment takes about an hour to complete. It is important to note that the length of time it takes to complete your treatment depends on the area being treated and the number of areas being treated.

We recommend booking your appointment in advance so that you can be sure to receive all of the attention you deserve during your session.

Key benefits of HydraFacial

Microcurrent treatments do not hurt, but they can feel strange.

The treatment is delivered via electrodes that are placed on your skin, and the current is very low. It’s similar to a slight tingle or tickle—you may feel it more than you would if you were just standing in water.

Does this treatment hurt?

Yes, there is downtime after microcurrent treatments. The average downtime after a microcurrent treatment is about 24 hours, with most patients experiencing some redness and tingling. However, the length of your downtime will vary depending on your individual skin and your treatment plan.

We recommend that you plan to stay at home and rest for at least 24 hours after your microcurrent session so that your body can fully recover and adjust to the effects of the treatment.
